Singapore Fun Trip
Singapore is a great place to have a fun trip with kids. It will give them an experience of a life time as almost all the major attractions there will interest kids older than 7-8 years immensely. Let me go through some basics first.
Food and Stay
If you're a vegetarian or fond of Indian food, then Little India is the place for you. There are literally couple of hundreds Indian restaurants spread all over. I tried around ten of them and wasn't disappointed with food quality at any of them.Move away from Little India and you feel scarcity of Indian food joints. So choose your place of accommodation carefully as you don't want to commute too much for breakfast and dinner (after a long day on rides or walk in the zoo).
Another advantage is that Little India is placed in between major attractions like Sentosa Island, zoo, bird park etc. and very well connected to MRT (metro rail) and public bus routes.
Commute
Metro rail (MRT, CRT), public buses and taxis are all equally convenient way to commute. Singapore Tourist Pass is great option to commute with both metro and public buses with unlimited usage. It is available for SGD 10, 16 and 20 for duration of 1, 2 and 3 days respectively. If you are 3-4 people then even taxi would be good option. Install Grab taxi hailing app for convenience provide you've network available on your phone in Singapore.
Communication
Based on my experience, keep 4G plan on your phone and you'll never have to worry about finding a place. Google map works wonders and will guide you step by step for any place you want to visit. 4G rates are not very high in Singapore. I got a matrix plan costing INR 1180 with 5GB data for 10 days and unlimited local and incoming calls.
General
For booking tickets to any of the attractions, go to visitsingapore.com is the website which will direct you to official website. Explore the website carefully and you might spot some good deals there. All attractions are disabled-friendly, kids-friendly and senior citizens friendly. Most of the places have strollers and motorized scooters available. Rest rooms and beverages are never more than couple of hundreds feet away and restaurants are also available in plenty though not all may have veggie options available. Now I'll go one by one through attractions and the details that one would need while planning for trip.
Universal Studios Singapore (USS)
With hair-raising rides and fun items, this has to be number one tourist spot in Singapore. Located in tourist island of Sentosa, it will take one whole day to cover. Express tickets will help you avoid queues and quickly finish ride after ride so it's worth extra spend on express tickets. Vegetarian Indian food is available in one of the restaurants inside USS with limited varieties but delicious ones.
All rides have lockers besides them where you can keep your mobile phone, wallets, bags etc. while on rides. Some of these lockers are free up to limited period but make it a point to retain little cash in your pocket so that you can open up the locker in case you exceed the free time limit.
Cove Adventure Water Park
This place again is full of great water rides, some of them are very unique to this place. There's something for everyone here - toddlers, teenagers, grown ups. Again a place located on Sentosa and to spend one whole day with scintillating rides and relaxing water pools. Vegetarians should probably carry something to eat as this place barely has a vegetarian option - a cheese pizza which I'd recommend only as last resort to avoid starvation.
Dolphin Island is another place within the water park that will give you once in a life time experience touching and playing with Dolphins. You need to purchase tickets for Dolphin programs separately and they will cost as much as water park tickets.

S.E.A. Aquarium
Gardens By The Bay

This man-made place is like a heaven built for tourists. Two huge domes (ticketed entrance for both) - Flower Dome and Cloud Forest - are as beautiful as it can be with huge air-conditioned structures. One gives you photogenic scenes with flowers and artificial pumpkins all around creating the magic of Cinderella's palace. Latter one is a forest built from bottom to top with a waterfall coming down the full height of the dome.Outside of domes, you get to see Super Trees - big man made tree like structures with their beauty in full bloom during the lights in the evening.
